Internationalist Voices on Ukraine
The war in Ukraine has become a divisive issues in the Green Party and the broader left. On his Green Socialist Notes podcast, Howie Hawkins has brought a number of Ukrainian/Russian socialist organizers to discuss a range of issues regarding the war and an internationalist perspective that supports the Ukrainian struggle against the Russian invasion. Since the beginning of the conflict, Howie has sought out connections and communication with leftists native to the regions of the conflict. These inside perspectives have helped drive Howie’s advocacy for an internationalist approach that supports the rights of Ukrainians to defend themselves and their nation against invasion.
