Howie Hawkins is joined by whistleblower John Kiriakou, a former CIA analyst and case officer, former senior investigator for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and former counterterrorism consultant. Kiriakou revealed that waterboarding torture was not just what some rogue agents were doing, but rather it was an established policy of the US government. For that revelation, he served 30 months in a plea bargain for “violations” of the Espionage Act of 1917.
